Here's Jessica's story, enjoy! :)

Hi there! I’m Jessica Heady, and I am 100% a SugarFan, I have always loved country music, I grew up on that, but I also like pop, alternative, and soft rock. I play the clarinet, I love the Spanish language; I hope to be a Spanish teacher one day, and I’m in the Autism Awareness Club in my school. I have a twin sister, but we look nothing alike. I have red hair blue eyes and she has brown hair brown eyes. I live in New Jersey, and no, it’s nothing like Jersey Shore.

The first time I heard about SugarLand was in 2004 with their hit single Baby Girl. I was about 8 years old at the time, and I didn’t really a music genre yet. I was sitting in the back seat of my aunt’s car and Baby Girl came on the radio. I loved everything about this song, the lyrics, the music, Jennifer Nettles’ voice, everything! But being 8 at the time, I wasn’t really following SugarLand. I got their first CD, that Christmas, I was super excited! After that I watched every award show they were on, got every CD they made. I remember this one time when their Green and Gold CD was coming out. That was all I wanted, I asked everyone for it! I actually didn’t think I was going to get it, but I did! It was my Halloween present, from my grandma. Usually my grandmother gives all the grandkids a bag of candy. That year she got me the CD I’ve been waiting for! I was so happy! But once I joined Facebook, which was 2010, I freaked out over SugarLand! And then I joined Twitter, which is where Imet the greatest people in the world, people I like to call my SugarFamily. I was stuck in between people I thought were my friends and people who weren’t actually my friends, but used me. Once I met my SugarFamily that changed, these people showed me that not everyone is mean and use people. SugarLand also help me, their song Little Miss showed me that “It’ll be alright again…”

SugarLand has changed my life they are fun, entertaining, and real. Every time I hear their songs on the radio, see them on T.V, or read an article about them, I can’t help but smile. I know all the words to all their songs, including their collaborations, which I can’t say I have a favorite. I only have two SugarLand items: a gray shirt with them on it from their website, which my aunt got me, and a white one with SugarLand written on it, which I got from Target. I also have never been to one of their concerts, nor have I actually met them, but that doesn’t mean I love them any less. (I’m making a scrapbook about them, that’s how much I love them). I know I will meet themsomeday, and until that day comes I will cheer them on from the side lines. Jennifer and Kristian are my idols; they are the greatest people in the world. SugarLand is my life.
Well that’s my story; thanks for letting me share this with you.

Jessica also shared her really neat Sugarland picture edits with us.
